Colleges Head Back to Class

Marshall University started classes on Monday. Classes begin today at West Virginia University in Morgantown. Students at both schools are taking classes either face-to-face or online in response to the pandemic. Less than 1% of the total number of virus tests given to students, faculty and staff at either school have come back positive. The tests are required for those returning to campus. About 1,500 students are living in campus residence halls in Huntington, Marshall said in a statement. About 6,200 students are attending at least one class in-person on the Huntington, South Charleston or health sciences campuses.
