Mingo County sheriff’s deputies said they are trying to identify a person of interest in the investigation of the theft of a catalytic converter. Deputies said the theft took place between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle belongs to ABLE Families, a nonprofit organization in Kermit. Anyone who has information that can help locate the person of interest or the dark-colored SUV shown in photos online is asked to contact the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office.
