The Charleston Fire Department is accepting applications for firefighters through Feb. 14. Testing will be March 9, according to the job posting on the department’s Facebook page. The applications can be found at the Charleston Fire Department’s Administration Office at 808 Virginia St. West. or at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall at 501 Virginia St. East. The department has eight fire stations and 169 uniformed personnel.
