FAA reconsidering proposal to cut hours at Yeager Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration is reconsidering a proposal to reduce working hours at the Yeager Airport air traffic control tower. A study that looked at closing the tower at night to cut costs, but the FAA is considering not moving forward with the proposal. Kanawha County commissioners say it would devastate the airport because so many flights arrive after 10 p.m.
