Juveniles Caught After Throwing Rocks at Cars

The Milton Police Department said two juveniles are facing charges after several vehicles were damaged with rocks on Interstate 64. Police said it happened Friday and Saturday evening in the eastbound lanes of I-64 in Milton and at least five vehicles were damaged by the juveniles throwing clumps of limestone. No one was injured, but it caused thousands of dollars in damage. Police said the owner of a brand new car received an estimate for $9,300 in damage. A cell phone was found at the scene, which helped identify the suspects. The juveniles will face destruction of property charges. The police department is consulting with the Cabell County Prosecutor’s Office to determine if additional charges should be filed.
