The Kanawha Valley Collective is collecting new blankets, coats, winter hats, gloves, disinfectant, and hand warmers. You can take donations to the United way from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays. The nonprofit will also help staff warming centers this winter, and they’re looking for volunteers.
