The West Virginia Division of Highways will be conducting a routine safety inspection next week on the Fort Hill Bridge on Interstate 64 in Charleston. Road crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, through Saturday, Jan. 18, on the Eugene A. Carter Memorial Bridge. The DOH said traffic will only be affected from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday when single right-lane closures will take place both eastbound and westbound. Drivers are reminded to reduce their speed when traveling through a work zone and follow any traffic signs.
