Governor working on a plan to keep doors open at Fairmont Regional Medical Center

Governor Justice says he’ll do everything he can to keep the doors open at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. Justice met with hospital officials this week. More than six-hundred doctors, nurses and staff received 60-day layoff notices. Meanwhile, WVU Medicine is hoping to fill the gaps. Plans are being developed to provide emergency room services and psychiatric care.
