The owner of a crumbling building in the East End has been given until Monday to salvage the building. Parts of Washington Street East and Elizabeth Street will remain closed because of safety concerns. The city says the brick veneer and parapet walls must be removed by six p.m. Monday, or they will be forced to demolish the building.
