The AARP announced in a news release Saturday that its free tax preparation and assistance service would be suspended at sites nationwide due to coronavirus precautions. Many of its clients are over 60. AARP will continue to monitor the situation and assess whether some or all sites can reopen during the tax season. Local locations for Tax-Aide included the South Charleston Community Center and the Kanawha City Community Center.
