Local Hospitals Continue to Prepare for Possible Coronavirus Cases

Things that you’re already doing to decrease your risk for the regular flu will also help prevent your risk should the coronavirus make its way to West Virginia. There are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus here now, but Charleston area hospitals are preparing just in case. The best advice is to wash your hands regularly, sneeze and cough into your elbow, and stay home when you’re sick. A representative from Thomas Hospital told WCHS TV that people shouldn’t be scared of the virus, but they should know about it. The CDC and local health officials are taking steps to contain the virus.
