West Virginia Can Now Test for Coronavirus

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources says the state’s lab can now test for coronavirus. Previously, tests in the state had to be sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, creating a delay in receiving results. According the CDC, West Virginia was one of six remaining states that did not have a lab that could test for coronavirus. There are currently no confirmed cases of the virus in West Virginia. Kentucky announced three new cases over the weekend.
