The price for a gallon of unleaded gas has dipped below $2 in many tri-state areas. In Charleston on Tuesday morning, several stations were selling gas for $1.99 per gallon. WCHS TV reported Huntington gas prices were $1.49 per gallon at Lulu Mart on Madison Avenue and several stations were selling gas for up to $1.79 per gallon. Hurricane gas prices ranged from $1.79 to $1.89 per gallon as did some other locations in Putnam County. Gas in Ripley was still above $2 per gallon. In St. Albans, prices ranged from $1.88 to $1.89 at some stations.
