Charleston Nurses are Welcomed Home After Working in New York

West Virginia-based nurses, Shanna Snyder and Norissa Rupe, returned to Yeager Airport Wednesday after spending 25 days in New York City treating coronavirus patients. The pair found out about the opportunity through an advertisement online and both worked in intensive care units at different hospitals near Times Square. They were welcomed back with signs and banners at the airport. And now Snyder and Rupe will have to quarantine for two weeks at home in Charleston.
