Hundreds of Complaints are Lodged Against Fayette County Water System

The West Virginia Public Service Commission has launched an investigation into the water service provided by a public service district in Fayette County. The commission said it has gotten about 400 complaints about the poor water service and high rates of Page-Kincaid PSD, and said many of those residents specifically requested the water system be taken over by a responsible utility. The entire water system is under a boil water advisory now. A status conference on the investigation is scheduled for July 16 in Charleston. Page-Kincaid PSD serves about 639 water customers in Fayette County.
