Two parades on Thursday honored students in Kanawha County. Seniors from Sissonville High School drove the normal homecoming route and supporters lined the route while Principal Ron Reedy handed out diplomas at the end, in front of the school. Ruffner Elementary School in Charleston also had a parade in the parking lot to honor fifth-graders. Two retiring teachers were also recognized.
