City and county leaders celebrated the class of 2020 Wednesday at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center and announced a special dedication. Individual seniors from Capitol, Charleston Catholic, George Washington, Herbert Hoover, Riverside, Sissonville, South Charleston, Nitro and St. Albans high schools were present, dressed in their cap and gowns and represented their schools. County Commissioners announced that the Shawnee Sports Complex in Kanawha County is dedicating a new pavilion to the class of 2020. The pavilion, which has not yet been built, will be called the “2020 Pavilion.”
