The Best Virginia team has decided to withdraw after a team member tested positive for COVID-19. Best Virginia’s players included some alumni from WVU basketball teams and had been slated to play “Herd That,” a Marshall University alumni squad, July 5. The Basketball Tournament is set for July 4-14 in Columbus, Ohio. The winning team gets $1 million. The tournament will air live on ESPN and fans will not be allowed to attend.
