Annual Fourth of July celebrations are still on in the City of Ripley.
The event will still include fireworks and a parade, with some adjustments. You won’t be able to sit on the courthouse lawn to watch the parade, but they can watch from the plaza at Academy Drive. Six-foot markers will be present for social distancing. WCHS TV reported there won’t be a carnival this year, but several drive-in concerts are scheduled and you’ll be encouraged to stay in your car to watch the shows and fireworks.
