After weeks of protests, Juneteenth was a day of celebration. Hundreds of people showed up for events yesterday on Magic Island and at a West Side Church. June 19th commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.
Governor Justice signed a proclamation recognizing Juneteenth in West Virginia.
