Mountaineer Football Player Tests Positive for COVID-19

A second West Virginia University football player has tested positive for the coronavirus. School officials said the student-athlete will enter a self-isolation period for the next two weeks. Additional members of the football team were identified as possibly having been exposed to the virus by the player. Those students have been mandated to self-quarantine. Voluntary workouts for football players who have tested negative for COVID-19 began June 15.
