Putnam County school officials are looking ahead to the fall to plan out how to bring kids back to the classroom safely. A spokesperson for Putnam County Schools said they’re mapping out several different plans. One of the state school board’s options is for kids to go to school four days a week, with Fridays dedicated to virtual learning and deep cleaning at schools. The Putnam County Schools Superintendent and some parents are pushing for a regular five-day schedule, but with some changes to school policies. The Putnam County Board of Education is sending out community surveys to get input on what parents think the school year should look like.
