Morgantown City Council unanimously approved an emergency ordinance that OKs fines for those ages 9 and up who don’t wear face coverings indoors. Violation of the face covering ordinance can result in a a fine of no less than $25 or more than $500. Also, businesses with three new positive COVID-19 cases will be required to close for a deep cleaning. The big jump in cases in the Monongalia County has been among the age group of 20-29.
