Marshall University’s athletic director announced this week that a member of the athletic department tested positive for COVID-19.
Mike Hamrick said 196 student athletes, coaches and staff were tested on Sunday as part of department protocol. There was one positive test result. Hamrick did not indicate if the case was a student athlete, coach or staff member.
