The City of Charleston reopened its outdoor playground and fitness equipment over the weekend. Hand sanitizing stations have been installed in some locations and others will be installed in the coming days. The city closed its playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, fields and courts in March due to the coronavirus. Social distancing guidelines are in place as the playgrounds reopen.
