State and county health officials are rejecting a recommendation from the CDC that suggests people exposed to COVID-19 donn’t need to be tested, unless they were having symptoms, are older, or other medically vulnerable. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department says it will continue to do contact tracing and test people, even if they are asymptomatic.
