Mason County voters will have the chance to weigh in on the fire and EMS levy this November. Money from the $4 million levy would generate $104,000 each year for five years for Mason County’s six fire departments and the county EMS service. The measure would cost the average voter in Mason County $37 a year, depending on how much property and personal property he or she owns. If the levy passes, it would take effect in July 2021 and end in July 2026.
