Authorities in Raleigh County said five people have been charged after thousands of dollars in suspected drug money, drugs and firearms were found after warrants were served at a hotel and a trailer park. The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office said a search warrant was served at the Smart Hotel on Harper Road last Saturday and 46 grams of crystal meth, 12 grams of heroin, three firearms and $40,000 in suspected drug money were seized. On Tuesday, a search warrant was served at Pitzer trailer park in Shady Spring, and 105 grams of heroin, a firearm and more than $2,700 in suspected drug money were seized.
