A Kanawha County church said several people from its congregation tested positive for the coronavirus, including the lead pastor. King’s River Worship Center was notified that an individual tested positive following an Aug. 30 service and the church announced on its Facebook page that other members have tested positive. The church’s lead pastor Chris Kimbro was among those who tested positive. The church moved services from in-person to online while it undergoes a deep cleaning, and the church closed its office.
