West Virginia University announced Monday all undergraduate classes at the Morgantown campus will be online through Friday, Sept. 25. The only exception is classes already engaged in clinical rotation. Graduate and professional courses will be available in person. The change is in response to a recent increase in positive COVID-19 cases in students on campus in Morgantown and the concern of the possibility for increased cases after parties held over the weekend. The university said Sunday 29 students are being placed on immediate interim suspension for reported COVID-19 violations involving large parties. If officials deem it safe after Sept. 25, on campus classes will resume in person Monday, Sept. 28.
