West Virginia forestry officials said a couple has been indicted in connection with wildfires that burned 55 acres in Boone County. Katie Jean Holstine and Lovell Ruben Holstine, who live in Emmons on the Kanawha-Boone county line, were indicted on one count each for setting fires to land of another and conspiracy. The state Division of Forestry said the fires broke out Feb. 27, 2019, in the Darmont area of Boone County and burned 20 acres of forested land and more than 35 acres of non-forested land.
