The Dunbar City Council okayed raises for the mayor and city clerk and had first readings of proposed increases for city council members and council president. The mayor’s pay will go up by $2,500 to an annual salary of $52,500. The city clerk will make $49,000. City council members and the council president would see pay increases by $50 per meeting, but that has yet to get final approval.
