The West Virginia Education Association said it filed an injunction Monday morning in Kanawha County Circuit Court, challenging the safety of West Virginia’s school re-entry map. President Dale Lee called attenention to changes made to the map and said the only way to restore confidence in the process is to adopt a new system. The filing seeks injunctive relief, including a temporary restraining order, as well as the enforcement of the West Virginia Open Meeting Act as it pertains to the experts making changes to the map.
