Kanawha County has moved from the orange into the gold category on the COVID-19 alert map. If it stays that way through tonight, when the school alert map is released, in person instruction could begin for the first time this school year. The school map uses a Thursday night cut-off, and Friday’s tests will not be reflected on the new map.
