A convicted felon was charged after Raleigh County deputies said drugs with an estimated street value of $250,000, several firearms and a large quantity of ammunition were discovered. Jamal Johnson of Beckley was charged in the case. The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office said officers served a search warrant in the Beckley Junction area and found 1,100 grams of heroin, about 180 grams of meth, two rifles, one handgun and ammunition. Johnson was previously convicted of a violent felony and was prohibited from possession of any firearms or ammunition.
