Mountain Health Tightens Its Visitor Policy

A West Virginia health system is again banning visitors from its hospitals over COVID concerns. Mountain Health Network announced that most visitors will not be allowed in its medical centers, including at St. Mary’s in Huntington. Essential caregivers will be allowed for patients in labor and delivery, in the pediatrics unit and in the neonatal units, and those nearing the end of their life. The policy was first enacted in March and it was lifted in June, but it’s been reinstated now.
