The Kanawha County Commission has been given approval from the West Virginia Development Office for a commercial and retail development known as Elkview Commons for shopping, restaurants and commercial space. The development will be located off Frame Road near the Elkview I-79 exit. Construction is set to start in 2021 and be completed about February 2022.
