Weekend construction on the I-64 Eugene A. Carter Memorial Bridge may cause some delays this weekend. Work on what’s known as the Fort Hill Bridge will be on the eastbound entrance ramp from US 119/Corridor G. The ramp will be closed for routine bridge maintenance starting Saturday morning and the closure will last until Monday evening. The closure will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. During these times, there will also be a westbound right lane closure in place along MacCorkle Avenue underneath the ramp. A possible alternate route is MacCorkle Avenue west to the Montrose Drive I-64 interchange.
