Saturday Is Drug Take Back Day

Charleston-area residents can turn in their unused or expired prescription medication this weekend for National Drug Take Back Day. The Charleston Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will be accepting the medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at six different locations Saturday, including Walgreens at 655 Washington Street West, and the Drug Emporium at 1603 Kanawha Blvd. West. The drugs will be properly disposed of with the DEA.
