Next week, kids in Kanawha County will come back to school for the full five-day week, but concerns are being raised about class sizes.
Mary C. Snow West Side Elementary 5th grade teacher Leigh Poindexter said she will have 14 kids in her classroom on Monday and she worries about social distancing. Superintendent Tom Williams told Eyewitness News this week that classrooms could have even more than that, depending on the school. The goal is to keep class sizes at 25 and under.
