A Charleston man will spend ten years behind bars after pleading guilty to manslaughter. Jeffrey Adam Wentz shot and killed a man at his West Dupont Avenue home in May 2019. The victim, 51-year-old Nelson Mitchell, was at the house to trade stolen property for drugs. He became upset and started throwing rocks at the house, when Wentz shot him.
