The Kanawha County Assessor’s Office will be closed until Nov. 30 following an additional positive COVID-19 test within the department. Assessor Sallie Robinson was notified of the positive test recently and decided to close the office for two weeks to further prevent the spread. Robinson said her staff will be working from home by phone and email during the closure.
