Color-Coded Map Shows 17 Counties In Red or Orange

The West Virginia Department of Education released its highly-anticipated weekly map Saturday evening that included one county in red and 16 in orange. Barbour County moved to red in the update while Mingo, Wyoming, Logan, Wayne, Lincoln, Putnam, Jackson, Wood, Fayette, Tyler, Marshall, Ohio, Mineral, Hardy, Randolph and Jefferson counties were all orange. The orange and red designations mean any football teams from those counties that qualified for the playoffs will not be able to play, ending their season. All other counties were gold, yellow or green in the weekly map.
