The North Charleston Community Center is closed this week after a Charleston Parks and Recreation Department employee tested positive for COVID-19. The West Virginia National Guard will clean the community center. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is contact tracing for those that have been at the North Charleston Community Center since Sunday, Nov. 15. The employee has mild symptoms, according to Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin.
