Football teams in about a dozen counties are waiting to see what color their county will be in on Saturday, Nov. 14. They must be in at least gold for them to be able to participate in the playoffs.
The governor remains concerned about COVID and encourages testing. There are 62 outbreaks at long-term care facilities right now and 17 outbreaks in churches in 11 counties. Corrections has three positive inmate cases (one case each at the Southwestern Regional Jail, Denmar correctional facility and the Charleston Community Correctional Center) and 38 staff cases. All situations are being monitored.
