There is a brand new COVID-19 testing option that is now available in the Charleston area. COVflu-19 is Mako Medical Laboratories’ latest test. It has the ability to detect three viral infections from one swab, according to Mako Medical Executive Director of West Virginia Ryan Nibert. It detects Influenza A and B and COVID-19. The three-in-one test took about three months to develop and isn’t common in the area just yet. You can go to the Mako Medical lab off MacCorkle Avenue and request the COVflu-19 test.
