No Game, But South Charleston Wins a Championship

The West Virginia high school football season is over. The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission announced Saturday night that West Virginia’s Super Six championship games will not be played. The winners for each class are South Charleston in Class AAA, Fairmont Senior in Class AA and St. Marys in Class A. The decision was made after an emergency meeting Saturday night after the West Virginia Department of Education map was released. The season was ended during the semifinal round of the playoffs.
