Last year the Jackson County Community Foundation raised $72,000 auctioning off Christmas decorations, and the auction is on again this year. Anyone can stop by and view the decorations and take holiday pictures by the outdoor Christmas decorations at the Starcher Mansion in Ripley. Each display represents a different community fund and there two dozen of the displays standing on the lawn. Some of the funds that will benefit include Savannah’s Closet and Shop-with-a-Cop. The auction will happen at 5:30 p.m. December 6th at the Starcher Mansion in downtown Ripley. You can also bid online.
