Six People Face Charges After Drugs Were Accessible to a Child

Six people were taken into custody in Fayette County after deputies said they found drugs, scales, drug paraphernalia and needles in easy reach of a small child. The six were charged with child neglect creating risk of serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit a felony, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Fayette deputies responded to do a Child Protective Services home check in Oak Hill and the six adults were taken into custody.
