Two people in Fayette County are facing animal cruelty charges after deputies said they found 25 cats living in a home in deplorable condition. Christopher Knotts and Nicolle Knotts are each charged with 25 counts of animal cruelty. Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home Tuesday on Armstrong Creek Road for a health and welfare check and found the cats living in the home where virtually every surface was covered in feces and urine. Both are being held at Southern Regional Jail on a $7,500 cash bond.
